GERVASE PHINN: FRIDAY OCT 29TH
The former school inspector, best known for his humorous autobiographies, will be regailing an audience with anecdotes from his latest volume, ‘Out of the Woods but not Over the Hill’ on October 29th. The talk, followed by a book signing will take place at Hungerford’s Town Hall at 7pm. The book looks back at over sixty years of family life, teaching, inspecting schools, writing and public speaking. Brimming with nostalgia, gently mocking life’s absurdities and never shy of an opinion - expect Gervase at his wittiest and twinkly-eyed best.
